Tyler + Kaylan | Wedding Day

Tyler + Kaylan said “I Do” in the Old Thomas Road Baptist Church in Lynchburg, VA (one of our favorite cities!) September 15th.  Hurricane Florence was intended to hit Lynchburg pretty hard that Saturday, but it ended up passing through with little rain during all of their portraits! It ended up being really perfect weather + we had so much doing all of their photos.. these two are so in love + it’s so happy to be around them!

We had a slow morning, we grabbed brunch at My Dog Duke’s Diner + then we headed over to Golf Park Coffee for a little extra caffeine boost pre-wedding! We highly recommend both if you happen to be in the area.

Tyler + Kaylan’s wedding day was so peaceful. We started with her details… all so stinking beautiful! The dress.. the shoes… the flowers… we couldn’t get enough! Kaylan got dressed in the stairwell of this church…and it turned out to be so dreamy + pretty! Her girls’ reaction to seeing her for the first time was priceless… she really did look like so stunning!

Tyler + Kaylan did a first look, so they got to have a sweet moment away with each other before the big moment. The wind was a little bit extra that day, but it made for some really beautiful + romantic portraits. Which we love so much!!!

They had a really special ceremony (with lots of great music!) and since they did their first look beforehand, we were early to the reception! They really had such a great party. Their friends, and really almost every guest ended up on the dance floor at some point. It was SO much fun to photograph + watch.

We are so grateful to have been a part of this super sweet day! Tyler + Kaylan it has been a delight to get to know you all a little better + celebrate big with you! We pray that each photo serves as a reminder of the beautiful story you all are writing together!

With love,

Lily + Elyse
