Josh + Charlotte got married on probably one of the most perfect fall days. The temperature was warm throughout the day but cooled off in the evening, which made for perfect weather to cozy up by the fire pit and make s’mores! The venue was surrounded by rolling hills painted with the colors of fall, a perfect background for portraits + a ceremony!
This was our first time at Glade Creek Farm and we were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the barn was + how nice the getting ready space was! And, the owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the entire day. We loved getting to be in such a welcoming environment and enjoyed our breaks in the rocking chairs on the front porch (and eating a macaroon or two!) J
Josh + Charlotte’s day was filled with their love for one another. They spoke some of the kindest words over each other throughout the whole day, which made our job of capturing their romance and excitement SO easy!
These two chose to do a lantern send off, which might be our favorite yet. Josh shared that the light from these paper lanterns can be seen for up to 2 miles away + encouraged each guest to reflect on how bright a small light can shine in darkness. He closed with a challenge to allow our light to shine no matter how dark things get. After that, there was laughter and life happening all around us, and a sky full of stars and lanterns. It was a beautiful end to a beautiful day.
Mr. + Mrs. Edwards, thank you for sharing your hearts and your day with us. We have loved getting to know you both + pray many blessings on your marriage!
We hope you enjoy!
